Hate your job? Here’s how to decide to love it or leave it

According to a recent Gallup Poll more than 70 percent of Americans are unhappy at work and their jobs. Many people go to work each day trying their best not to quit. They sit there all day and ponder how their life would turn out if they would just get up and walk out. If you find yourself you’re not alone when it comes to hating your current role. How to go from navigating passion to choosing a career

There is no way to know what you’ll be doing forever. Of course, most people have a dream career but sometimes our dream career choice isn’t right for our personality. According to a Gallup poll, 30-57 percent of college freshman change their major at least twice before graduation. The same goes for people and their first job. Millennials now have an average tenure of 1-3 years at their first place of employment. Is this a lack of direction or passion? Only we can decide what we are lacking. Ultimately it’s not a bad thing to job hop even if you went to college or university seeking a specialty. The ‘F’ in life stands for flexibility and that includes our interests as we evolve into fully formed people. Use college as a tool to explore your options. Talk to an advisor and take courses that ignite your passions. It is important to have a major chosen but don’t beat yourself up if you can not decide on a career right away. Happiness is a choice

Happiness is accepting your imperfections and quirkiness. Also accepting where you are but keeping faith and believing that you will get to be to where you want to be. Happiness is an emotion. It can not be found it must be felt. If you think that changing something in your life will make you feel happier, then do it. My mother is 50 years old going back to college because she finally found her passion and it’s making her happy. Never give up. You have to constantly, boldly, and deliberately take hold of your thoughts and feelings. Redirect your thoughts from negativity to prosperity and success. It is up to you to dare to choose and radiate outward with your thinking what you really wish to experience. Don’t let life just happen to you, you happen to life. Happiness plays a major role in success …

How to stay ahead while unemployed

Here are three tips to help you keep your life on track while unemployed: Tip #1) Write out your plan for recovery. If your goal is to become a chef, you should write all the steps necessary to complete it. For example: Step 1: Go to culinary school. Step 2: Upon graduation get employment as a sous chef. Writing the action steps down on paper makes your dream more tangible and creates a clear path for you to follow. Each time you have completed a step mark it out. This physical cue if marking out a step will make you feel closer to your goals. By doing this you can reward yourself and see that you are still making progress towards your dream even when life has made it seem impossible. Tip #2) Don’t let your pride get in the way. Reaching out for help will not make you weak or your friends and family feel that you’re no longer dependable. If someone close to you chooses to not be there for you, don’t be angry. …
